A person in this role is responsible for coordinating the efforts of all Divisional Field Operations Supervisors within the Region. Trains the Divisional Field Operations Supervisors and monitors their effectiveness and that of the overall FHH Field Operations Initiatives. Interfacing closely with the Regional Team and each Branch's Management Team and maintaining contact with factory personnel, FHH staff, builders, homeowners, and inspectors are essential to this role.Job responsibilities:Knows and understand FHH policies and Field Operations initiativesRefines and implements "best practices" of field operationsEnsures that branch/divisions meet CTP (Complete to Promise) goals and quality standardsTrain, develop and supports Division Field Operations Supervisor in job responsibilitiesSupports Branch/Division Field Operations by assisting in the management of field members and sub-contractorsCoordinates and delivers safety training and training on the installation of products to field members and subcontractors in regionManages and tracks certification testing for field members and subcontractorsCoordinates and delivers builder and related jobsite trades trainingProvides branch/division with sales and customer supportAssumes role as technical expert in resolving difficult issues with customers and building officialsLead Regional Safety Initiatives by working closely with Safety Champion and MCR to ensure that members are following OSHA and FHH Safety StandardsResponsible for all building code enforcement issues, incident investigation, and legal liability issues within the regionLead Business Process Improvement in assigned region.Must be proficient in tools and techniques of continuous improvement through formal training and RCI events. Roll out tools and techniques in field operations where appropriate, focusing on 7 forms of waste and 6s.Work closely with corporate, manufacturing, and technical services staffsSupports and acts as team member on related projectsSkills and AbilitiesMust be physically capable of accessing construction sites and homes under construction including but not limited to climbing ladders, lifting and carrying tools and materials, and walking over difficult terrainMust possess ability to read tape measure and use required toolsMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must have good computer skills (MS Office including PowerPoint, Internet).Must have good attention to detail and good organizational skills.Excellent problem-solving capabilities and excellent customer service skills.The ability to multi-task and to interact effectively with all types of people in a dynamic environment.Must be able to present technical material effectively in front of a group.Must be able to travel as needed throughout region ( Education and ExperienceHS Diploma (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)Five years or more of related experience with working knowledge of field operations.Familiarity with products including product limitations, installation requirements, FHH policies, and local building codesAbility to read and understand residential blue printsPreferred QualificationsGas Piping and/or HVAC contractor license preferred About Working for Fireside Hearth & Home Take ownership of your career with a job that ignites your passions and rewards your hard work.
