Iron Bow is seeking a Solution Architect to lead delivery of a modern storage solution across multiple sites for a major DoD Customer in Washington, DC. During this five-year contract, the Solution Architect will be directly responsible for assessment, design, planning, and deployment of the new storage solution. RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform discovery and assessment of existing customer storage infrastructure and data sets. Design and document a detailed solution architecture that includes all sites, systems, connectivity, power, and cooling Develop and generate documentation required to obtain an interim and final ATO Support coordination of all equipment delivery and installation across all facilities Deploy, Install, and Configure the Storage Solution to JWICS, SIPRNET, and NIPRNET Support active-active storage cluster design for Zero RPO/PTO failover capability between source and alternate sites Configure and deploy health monitoring and predictive alerts across all sites and networks Develop and execute test plans to validate required system functionality Create and execute Operational Readiness Review prior to deployment and migration of customer data. Analyze legacy infrastructure and develop formal approach to migrate all storage workloads to the new solution. Create and execute migration plan including documentation for the Migration Approach, Migration Change request process, and migration testing and validation Lead transition from legacy storage infrastructure to new storage solution Lead Operations and Maintenance support Up to 25% CONUS travel required to sites within 250 miles of Washington, DC Additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility Required Bachelor s Degree in a technical discipline preferred Technical Qualifications: Recent Experience with EMC Unity Solutions, VMAX, VMAX3, VPLEX, SRDF, Isilon, VNX, and PowerMax. Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines Ability to balance a large-volume workload Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 5-7 years experience as a Storage solution architect or related technical environment.
