The Vice President of Global Growth & Strategic Development (VPGGSD) leads the business planning, execution, investments, and resources needed to drive K12s organic and inorganic international growth. S/he will oversee the various cross-functional project teams responsible for international strategy development, sales and marketing, partnerships, and international product offerings. The VPGGSD is responsible for working closely with K12 Corporate Development and Corporate Technology resources to define and execute on building an international portfolio of in-organic growth options in core, adjacency, and new spaces. The VPGGSD reports to the General Manager and Senior Vice President of K12 Learning Solutions and has a direct supervisory role of the Global Growth & Strategic Development team, where s/he will build, lead, and position the team to deliver on K12s international growth aspirations. Corporate Strategy Responsible for development and execution of the international inorganic growth strategy and for sourcing qualified company acquisition targets and strategic partnership opportunities, in collaboration with the K12 Corporate Development resources; Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop and align the international technology strategy & roadmap that allows for scaled unit growth in attractive markets across the world; Executive Leadership Leads cross-functional teams to develop holistic and achievable business plans, based on applicable analytical research, to develop synchronized and efficient operations across lines of business; Builds an effective international organizational structure, as well as a coalition of internal and external collaborators in an effort to grow K12s business internationally; Responsible for international revenue, growth, and P Growth Oversees strategic brand development and awareness campaigns in attractive international markets through online, offline, and partner channels; Drives the ongoing process to achieve product market fit, including developing and testing product and pricing strategies; Development Develops and executes on international partnership strategy, from persona development, targeting, acquisition, and enablement, to driving ongoing productivity and growth; Provides oversight and direction for international pilots and tests; Identifies and leads appropriate opportunities for development, advancing K12s international expansion. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 3 - 7 Full-time Equivalent (FTE) regular employees and/or contractors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Minimum Required Qualifications: Masters degree AND Twelve (12) years leading business development and B2C marketing campaigns OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Experience leading strategic growth planning processes Experience leading team of direct reports, and internal and external stakeholders to achieve impressive results Experience developing & managing international sales & delivery partnerships Experience working closely with startups and venture capital ecosystem Certificates and Licenses: None required. Other Required Qualifications: Entrepreneurial drive and a demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment; Ability to maintain and grow internal and external relationships, responding to frequent demands of multiple customers; Demonstrated analytical thinking and an ability to convert analysis of client needs, business goals and competitive pressures into product vision, requirements and priorities, and execute the product roadmap. Ability to effectively use data insights to drive decision making process Proven ability to deliver results while leading in a matrix organization Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business experts.
