DescriptionSearching for tracking Collections Manager or Director of Collections candidates to join an exponentially growing Banking and Lending Services organization, specifically servicing small businesses lending needs! The ideal Collections Manager or Director of Collections candidates we are seeking must have recent 2+ years B2B collections experience, particularly coming from the Banking, Lending Services or Financial Services related industries. Our clients, located in Dulles, have been steadily growing the past several years, and need the right Collections Manager or Director to join their leadership team from both an analytical and strategic element, and to actively engage with managing and further developing their collections team as the company continues to scale. The position will be 100% remote to begin, with the option of going into the office place, and will offer long-term remote flex opportunities; must go in office when appropriate 3 days/week.The ideal Collections Manager or Director of Collections must have experience in and/or be comfortable with owning the following responsibilities:* Provide strong leadership to a team of collectors in a constantly evolving and increasingly complex business environment* Establish, measure and report on key performance metrics to assess departmental effectiveness and identify areas of weakness/opportunity* Recruit, hire and train new team members and manage staffing to ensure headcount levels are adequate to achieve outlined KPIs* Collaborate with senior leaders in Risk, Underwriting, Legal and Finance in creation and execution of pre and post-charge off collections and recoveries strategies* Exemplify customer service skills including the ability to professionally manage difficult customer communications while maintaining our philosophy of "positive intent"* Manage all activities in the collection and recovery function from the first day of delinquency through judgment enforcement* Negotiate payment plans, modifications, settlements, and litigation recommendations subject to policy.
