Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a multidisciplinary consulting firm is searching for a driven Subcontracts Administrator. The Administrator will be responsible for performing full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work. They will demonstrate knowledge of the FAR, negotiates pricing and terms/conditions and review contract terms to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations.   • Works closely with contract administrators/managers to provide cradle-to-grave subcontract support primarily under federal government contracts
  • Responsible for cradle to grave contracts administration including preparing and negotiating agreements in accordance with requirements
  • Prepare subcontract documents and amendments, specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement
  • Prepares bid packages, analyzes proposals and negotiate subcontract provisions
  • Identify and resolve complex issues on assigned subcontracts and makes recommendations to management
  • Analyzes risks and identifies risk mitigation; performs subcontract close-out activities;
  • Negotiates modifications to subcontracts; provides proposal development and sourcing support
  • Maintain organized files and tracking spreadsheets and respond to audit requests
  • Acts as primary interface between subcontractors and for all subcontracts related issues

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field required
  • 5+ years of contract administration experience required; experience with federal agencies preferred
  • Prior experience administering federal, state and/or commercial contracts
  • Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills to develop and interpret complex reports, and related documentations
  • Detail and Process oriented; ability to build and foster successful working relationships
  • Ability to handled multiple ongoing projects and prioritize based on current need
