This position is located in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence (TFI), Office of Intelligence and Analysis (OIA), Insider Risk Management Office (IRMO).

Responsibilities

Pursuant to 50 USC § 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury.

As an Intelligence Operations Specialist (Insider Risk Technical Project Manager), you will:

• Serve as Treasury's subject-matter expert on insider risk monitoring and OIA's technical authority on topics of UAM technologies and insider risk technical project management.
• Advocate on behalf of OIA and IRMO interests at interagency, Intelligence Community (IC), and the Treasury Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) working groups, committees, or other venues.
• Lead planning activities and manage all IT-related projects within IRMO.
• Research latest advancements in insider threat technologies and develops/implements technical plans, strategies, and programs.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for the GS-13: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes ALL of the following:

- Managing information technology projects; AND
- Supporting insider threat technical tools or capabilities.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year trial period may be required.
- Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Top Secret security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
- Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.
- File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
