He or she will serve as a lead strategist in understanding the needs of customers and determining how we can capitalize on Hilton's core strengths to create additional demand for our brands and efficient programs for our owners. He or she will also lead in the planning and execution of these strategies. The outcome of this work will not only drive revenue, brand love, and dedication among existing target consumers, but help cultivate new customers and inspire team members and owners to choose Hilton.This role requires the Sr. Manager to collaborate within the Hilton matrix and to lead and execute on activities which elevate and improve Hilton's brand globally.More specifically, you will:* Lead small to medium sized cross-functional projects or workstreams with limited oversight* Build an overall project approach, strategy, and objectives.* Set project timelines and hold teams accountable to meeting objective results.* Run cross-functional working teams to ensure collaboration and facilitate elite work.* Discover key hurdles or roadblocks and find strategic solutions* Understand macro-trends and utilize customer insights to inform decisions* Develop financial business cases when appropriate* Prioritize communication internally and externallyWhat are we looking for?The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:* Strategic and execution oriented - comfortable with the ability to start with a blank slate, operationalize the final solution, and lead all the steps in between* Very comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced, newly established environment* A "roll up your sleeves" attitude that is excited to work on anything and everything all at once; A champion for change, willing to challenge the status quo* Excellent organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities with limited resources and very strong project management skills* Solid track record of team leadership and collaboration; confirmed experience in building relationships and working in a heavily matrixed environment* Outstanding communication skills with constituents at all levels of the organization* Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence* Strong analytical skills and aptitude in using data to inform and drive key decisions* Outstanding attention to detailTo fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:* High School Diploma/GED* Five (5) years in hospitality, corporate strategy, or innovation* Two (2) years of experience supervising cross-functional teams* Travel as required* Confirmed experience handling sophisticated cross-functional projectsIt would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:* BA/BS Bachelor's DegreeWhat is it like working for Hilton?Hilton is the world's leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
