Description SHIFT: Days (rotating weekends)SCHEDULE: Full-timeLocated in the outskirts of Washington, DC, Reston Hospital Center (231-bed acute facility) lies within the vibrant Town Center of Reston, known for its lively mix of restaurants, shops, and services. Most importantly, Reston Hospital Center is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life in our community by putting patients first.Interpret and update the hospital''s employee healthpoliciesReviews fitness for duty examinations and drug screensconducted for all new hires into the hospital; and follow up on those who failto meet Reston Hospital Center standardsInvestigate and follow-up work related injuries andensure the staff is properly treated; and ensure the interests of the hospitalare protected.Review all requests for medical leaves of absence forboth the staff and their eligible family members to ensure the FMLA standardsare met. Provide guidance and counsel to Department Managers and HRD incases where the health of the individual is in dispute.Participate with HR in all investigations and reviewsall cases in the hospital in which staff invoke the Americans with DisabilitiesAct. Organizational skills to handle multiplefunctions.Familiarity with computer skills; especially MicrosoftOffice.
