Summary

Manage and drive the enterprise content creation workflow systems to include: Content Publishing System (CPS), digital asset. Ensure that Association intellectual property (e.g. content, photography, broadcast) is pro-activity made assessable for strategic and tactical use through all communication channels. Ensure that unauthorized use is curtailed through consolidated rights and contract management which will result in revenue opportunities for stored content resources can be activity pursued.

Plays a critical role in collaborating with IT resources and platform suppliers/partners as needed. Serves enterprise groups that create/manage content creation; enabling content producers across all platform efficiently catalog, share and distribute content assets. management (DAM), Integrated Media Platform for contract rights, Creative Asset Portal, On Brand and QuickBase. Establish system Administrative policies, procedures for all system maintenance to include future development, enhancement, testing and deployment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide governance and oversight of all content system and workflows working with the business
  • Plan and manage all system operations activity including expansion, periodic IT implementation projects and contracted manage service providers.
  • Responsible for developing strong matrix relationships with users and managers, at all levels and across enterprise. Coordinate with user groups as well as fosters dialog and decision making across enterprise
  • Support, develop and maintain Administrative policies, procedures and workflows covering the handling and use of all workflow and assets to ensure integrated operations. Responsible for controlling risk through asset rights management and usage controls.
  • Responsible for the continued integrity of metadata and taxonomy models through a library services and asset ingest team. Inclusive of this responsibility is the initial creation of original models and their evolution/development over time.
  • Responsible for maintaining a current content systems and workflow training curriculum and delivery model to onboard new users, improve skill sets of current users and manage upgrades.
  • Manages the Media Operations staff; provides oversight, performance development and financial oversight of the department.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years direct experience developing and using enterprise systems in media environments such as K4, DAM, censhare or other content workflow systems.
  • Sound understanding of the workflows, terms and ability to speak the language of editorial, creative and production personnel (and management) in print publishing, online and broadcasting fields Complete Understanding of metadata and taxonomy.
  • Understanding of Information Technology tools if not an IT professional
  • Strong understanding of publishing, digital, asset management workflow systems, to include: XML Standards & Technology, DAM Administration; Asset Life Cycle and multi-platform workflows
  • Strong people management skills;
  • BA/BS degreed preferred
