Maxar is seeking a Systems Security Accreditation (SSA) Specialist to join an existing team on an exciting and challenging technical collection project. The SSA Specialist will be responsible for walking software applications through the CIO Risk Management Framework (RMF) process. Responsibilities: Satisfy security requirements and maintaining operational excellence for enterprise-wide classified and unclassified software. Oversee and execute a security approach that exceeds customer expectations and minimizes security risks. Assist in identifying the needs of internal and external customers and addresses their concerns. Obtain ATT and ATO. Ensure all necessary Assessments and Authorizations (A&A) are in accordance with the Security Plan. Provide system security process support. Support reaccreditation. Ensure compliance with NISPOM. Ensure information is handled in compliance with policies and regulations. Minimum Requirements: Must have current/active TS/SCI security clearance with a CI Polygraph. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT-related security related discipline. 5 years of relevant experience. Experience with C2S and commercial clouds. Experience with relevant accreditation tools. Experience with customer accreditation tools (eg, Xacta) and all related processes and procedures related to attaining an ATO on NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS. Experience working with federal government clients and stakeholders. Experience creating and maintaining the Systems Security Plan (SSP). Experience ensuring software is certifiable and accredited with ICD 503. Experience with AWS/C2S services. #cjpost
