The Mortgage Servicing Specialist will coordinate all mortgage loan servicing activities while providing superior quality service to members and coworkers. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks including loan payment processing, investor remittance and reporting, property tax and insurance payments, escrow account analysis, interest rate change notifications/modifications, and payoff processing/re-conveyances. Responsible for coordinating the loan documentation area to ensure completeness of loan files after closing.Responsibilities:* Provides telephone and in-person member service and respond to member inquiries.* Processes all servicing required functions for mortgage loans.* Processes remittance of funds to investors. Collects and processes investor loan payments.* Processes and finalizes purchase advises for cash sales to investors. Maintains and reconciles custodial accounts.* Processes index and dividend rate changes within the FICS system.* Performs daily, monthly and quarterly FICS interfaces with Episys core system. Balances FICS data to Andrews Federal general ledgers.* Processes, analyzes, and mails escrow analysis notices to members and performs annual property tax disbursements.* Processes and disburses insurance, homeowners and PMI.* Prepares and reviews quarterly statements and annual tax statements for first mortgages.* Produces and submits credit reporting for FICS on a monthly basis.* Reviews and processes incoming requests and information from financial institutions and members for fellow staff members and modifications.* Obtains system reports to notify Debt Management & Solutions of delinquent mortgage loan accounts. This would include notification of Mortgage Insurance company for loans when delinquent.* Coordinates member requests for PMI removal.* Provides training to Loan Servicing staff regarding daily operational issues.* Assists management with projects as required.* Attends work regularly and according to work schedule; limits absences according to personnel policies regarding leave usage.* Interacts with co-workers, supervisors, members and outside contacts in an appropriate, professional manner, which projects a positive image of the department and Andrews Federal.* Assist in the origination, processing and closing of first and second mortgage loans as necessary.Requirements:* Requires at least 2 years mortgage or banking contact or call center experience.This is an on-site position, Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00PM.**About Aerotek: Your success starts with the right career opportunity.
