Responsible for supporting a variety of networks & systems in a mission-critical enterprise environment.A' Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team, without a constant management presence. A' Works in a team of various government, subcontractor, and SAIC personnel.A' This engineer will primarily deal with project-type work. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Security+ or CISSP certification on day one. Working Knowledge of TCP/IP, network infrastructure, and networked appliances, to include administrative access and configuration experience.A' MUST be fully conversant in the OSI model. Advanced knowledge of Cisco Hyperflex Advanced Knowledge of VMWare:A' 6.5, 7, Horizon, ESXi, vSphere, vCenter. Advanced Knowledge of VMWare Horizon Experience with Windows Server Administration Experience with Digital Certificates (ex. PKIs) Ability to troubleshoot systems issues in real time, without causing additional downtime Knowledge of printers, networked print queues, and basic maintenance. Knowledge of rules and procedures for handling government classified and proprietary information, and experience working within a secure facility. Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to defuse situations, and to deal with individuals who might not fully understand the technology Desired Education, Certifications, Skills, Expertise, Years of Experience: Knowledge of UNIX and Linux systems. Knowledge of VPN technology and implementation. Working knowledge of popular, legacy, and new social media, blog sites, and mobile applications.
