Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Variable Part Time Food Service Worker who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a food service worker, you will be responsible for food preparation and other patient service activities. Position includes but is not limited to, preparing patients trays, pick-up and clean-up, preparing meals for patients, kitchen cleanliness including but not limited to areas other than the tray line, delivery of nourishment orders to nursing units for patients. Experience in food service preferred but is not required. Basic computer knowledge and computer use preferred
Qualified candidates will possess:
• Previous hospital food service experience helpful
• High School Diploma or GED desired but not required
• Proficiency in English/ Bilingual is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to handle a multi task environment
• Food Handlers Certification helpful
