Back-End Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a back-end developer to deliver capabilities to our End-to-End System and NiFi Modeling Teams, you?ll be part of an agile development team where you?ll create custom analyst tools with consistent performance and scalability. Required Qualifications-7+ Years of experience with software development-Experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java and scripting languages, including Python-Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL-Experience with data modeling-TS/SCI FSP Required-BS degreeDesired Qualifications-Experience with unstructured databases, including Mongo and Elasticsearch and graph databases, including Neo4J-Experience with Web page design in JavaScript and Angular-Experience with customizing the Hortonworks Data Platform-Experience with working in UNIX and Agile environments-Ability to brief technical topics to non-technical staff-Ability to gather requirements from project teams and determine priorities-Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term tasking-Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation-BS degree in an IT or CS fieldSKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS 7+ Years of experience with software development NiFi experience Programming languages, including Java and scripting languages, including Pythonby Jobble
