Market Development Manager
Who You Are: A motivated Retail Xpert that drives sales of client products in an assigned market of national retail stores. You have a knack for driving sales through a variety of tactics by educating, training, and building relationships with store associates, merchandising, and directly selling to consumers. You have the ability to build brand awareness and presence at the retail level, collect and report on in-store activities, assist with sales programs, collect competitive information and be a consultative partner on moving the brand and program to new levels of success. You create the highest level of customer experience in the industry through best-in-class store. Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience and preferably a background/passion for technology knowledge. Position will report directly to the Regional Manager. Since 1995, Creative Channel has achieved phenomenal growth as both an industry innovator and market leader in creating purchase passion: a powerful, potentially life- long emotional connection, created between a shopper and a brand What You Will Do: Marketing and sales engagement Increase brand awareness and drive sales of our client's products by educating consumers and store associates Understand and articulates product details in an engaging, enthusiastic and persuasive manner with the ability to easily connect with consumers Demonstrate a passion for wireless products to effectively generate interest in our client's products and services Utilize strong selling and demonstration techniques when executing demo day events. Increase sales, market share, overall awareness and advocacy for our client and all of their products Conduct planned visits to assigned retail stores at variable frequency Conduct training visits with a focus on Store associates and brand representatives. Conduct Assisted Selling Days (ASD) with a focus on customer interaction and product sales Distribute, install and maintain POP materials when needed Ensure all scheduled shifts are completed, including clocking in/out as per given timelines per CRM and Retailer Promote and increase engagement in clients E-Learning modules on retailer and client training platforms. Administrative Activities Complete all required training within established timelines Gather, summarize and report on field and channel feedback and insights on a regular basis, aiding in the growth and support of the brand Collect and report visit data, issues with displays and products, and competitive market data and insights and photos Complete reports thoroughly and on time using online platform (access to internet and computer required) What You Will Need: High school diploma or GED, some college education preferred Minimum of 2 years retail sales experience- background in consumer electronics, technology, and/or cell phones and tablets are a plus! A passion for technology and new cutting-edge products Basic proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Field marketing and promotion or training experience is a plus Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Engaging and impactful presentation and training skills Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to speak and hear. The employee is generally required to stand and move around a retail environment for approx. 5-8 hours per day.
