Our client needs a talented Junior Full Stack Java Developer to build enhancements and provide operations and maintenance support for the back-end and front-end of a web-based application for their Federal Health IT client. This award-winning employer needs YOU to join their ranks This is a contract to hire role and in Woodlawn, MD (work being performed REMOTELY during COVID restrictions for local candidates only.) Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must hold a valid , lived in the United States for the last 3 years, and be able to pass the client's background requirements. Responsibilities Define and implement innovative solutions Product management User markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages Maintain and improve website Optimize applications for maximum speed Get feedback from and build solutions for users and customer to improve usability Write functional requirement documents and guides Create quality mockups and prototypes Coding and troubleshooting Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field 1 year experience in software development Proven work experience as a full stack java developer in both UI (JavaScript, React.js, Redux) and server-side (Java) Hands-on experience developing and integrating with dynamic markup languages JavaScript React Redux HTML CSS jQuery Experience using development frameworks such as Spring (SpringBoot) Experience in Java REST API development Experience developing Restful APIs Stateless Applications Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks such as Hibernate Proficient in database technologies such as MySQL or Aurora In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment) Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must hold a valid , lived in the United States for the last 3 years, and be able to pass the client's background requirements 4 Reasons to Join The Squires Group, Inc. 1.
