Responsibilities - Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects - Assist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and collecting past due balances - Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports - Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned - Classify documents with the proper expenditure codes and accounting codes - Post financial information to journals and ledgers - Resolve discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts; generate correction documents as required - Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing Job Requirements: - Earlier work involving Office Administration - Demonstrated knowledge of general ledger - General ledger experience highly desired - ERP Solutions experience highly preferred - Background working with Peachtree Sage - Accounts Payable (AP) experience - General familiarity with payroll - Practical knowledge of enterprise resource planning - Accounting Principles experience desired - Adeptness in General Ledger System - Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) - Good understanding of People Management - General Ledger System experience - 3+ years of accounting experience required - Ability to multitask effectively - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred - Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Excellent data entry skills Robert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled finance and accounting professionals in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
