ECS is seeking an Office 365 Support Engineer to work in our Bethesda, MD office. Job Description: We are looking for an Office 365 Support Engineer to work in our Bethesda, MD office. Required Skills: US Citizen and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Bachelor's Degree with a major in Computer Science and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience 5+ years of progressive experience with the supporting Microsoft O365 Application Services: Office 365 Admin Application and Services in a Hybrid server environment MS Office 2010 - 2016 Windows 7 and 10 3+ years establishing and maintaining O365 Exchange mailboxes, user accounts, distribution groups and providing input on enterprise exchange policies and procedures Demonstrate Level 3 experience troubleshooting and resolving O&M software and message transmission problems Demonstrate Level 3 experience troubleshooting and resolving O&M software and message transmission problems Create shell programs and utility scripts Perform configurations and adjustments to enhance mailbox performance Monitor and execute automated and manual mailbox backup and restore processes. Provide user support and conduct user software and hardware training to formulate technology solutions and ensure the effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data. Experience supporting mission critical, 24x7 systems; available for shift and weekend tasks as assigned Monitoring ticket queue to ensure that all contractual SLAs are satisfied. Ability to prioritize and organize effectively. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Desired Skills: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification ITIL Foundation Certification Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification Perform daily monitoring of server and application logs Ability to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs Participate in monthly patching maintenance.
