SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Help Desk Support Specialist to support the operations team for an online mission assurance system. Ideal candidates are inquisitive self-starters who are eager to learn. This position may eventually include shift-work (nights and weekends). Responsibilities: Respond to user issues and inquiries Create user accounts Perform system research and troubleshooting Perform daily system checks Required Skills & Experience: Active Security+ Certification (or equivalent) Experience with Active Directory Experience with Microsoft operating system Experience with user ticketing system or process Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Experience with Team Foundation Server Experience with Linux operating system Experience with Ticket Cheetah or ServiceNow Education: BS in a technical discipline (STEM) preferred Minimum Clearance: Final Secret Location: Dahlgren- On base Why Work for SimVentions?
