This position is located in the Treasury Office of Inspector General, Office of Investigations, aimed at supporting the Mission Support Branch within the Office of Investigations.

Responsibilities

As a Program Analyst (Mission Support), you will:
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for Office of Investigations law enforcement vehicles; to include tracking vehicle accidents forms, preparing vehicle reports and statistics, vehicle budgeting, coordinating the use of fleet credit cards, and participating in working groups for vehicle related issues.
  • Prepare for review, correspondence on behalf of the Office of Investigations (OI) destine for senior level officials inside and outside the Treasury Department in support of the OI investigative mission requiring technical knowledge of the work and procedures for OI.
  • Assist in preparing, analyzing and documenting information for reviews, requests or data calls related to internal quality assurance reviews and/or Council of Inspector General's on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) requests.
  • Create physical file folders (labels, printouts, and file documentation) and draft notification to the Federal Bureau of Investigation on all criminal investigations.

Specialized experience: For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in other public or private sectors, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:
  • Experience communicating effectively with a wide variety of customers; AND
  • Utilizing computer systems to enter data entry of specialized records and prepare reports; AND
  • Preparing and reviewing files or documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines.

OR
You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; if related to the position;

OR
You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions. The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector.

In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-07level for 52 weeks.
