Responsibilities

The incumbent will perform the following duties:

-Monitors, tracks, and reports on program obligations.
-Prepares special analysis of fund obligations and expenditures as necessary.
-Advises Forensic Sciences management on matters pertaining to contracting actions.
-Coordinates incremental funding, time extensions, approval of progress payments, and final payments to the contractor.
-Conducts annual fiscal audits of the laboratory system.

Qualifications

GS-13: Must have one year specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 Federal grade level performing the following duties evaluating and analyzing fiscal and contract data for discrepancies; formulating, executing and maintaining budgets for an organization; providing guidance and advice to management on fiscal and contract policy and procedures; and preparing financial reports for audit purposes.

An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement.
