This position will be responsible for managing the indirect budgets for the enterprise. This position will interface with key business leaders, collaborate with cross functional teams in the FP&A processes.Perform financial analysis including variance analysis, forecasts and risk assessment. Provide recommendations to management to achieve financial goals with an emphasis in profitable growth, operational efficiencies and execution of governance and controls. The position will report to the OptumServe FP&A Sr. Director. Primary Responsibilities:Responsible for preparing forecasts and Long Range PlanWork with accounting team on month-end close reporting with variance analysisPrepare and analyze the functional budgets for indirect personnel at the OptumServe levelAssist with implementing Costpoint system across all businesses within OptumServeAssist in the capital budgeting processSupport the preparation of the OptumServe finance deliverables with Optum Corporate staffPerform ad hoc analysis as required to support the businessCharacteristics of successful candidate:Must be able and willing to dive into the details plus have ability to work independently Demonstrated ability to proactively define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, draw valid conclusions and make actionable recommendations in a timely and accurate mannerExcellent business-savvy with a consultative approach; ability to collaborate with team members across organizational linesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5 years of government contracting experienceExperience managing indirect rate structures and budget for large organizationExperience with Costpoint or other cost accounting systemStrong skills in financial analysisMust be willing to work within Falls Church, VA locationBachelor's Degree combined with 6 years of progressive experience in finance or accountingOptum, a part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses, continues to evolve and make a bigger impact through its extensive expertise in combining technology, data and people to create novel health care solutions and services across the globe.
