We have an opening for a Power Management & Distribution Product Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in Dulles, VA. As an Electrical Power Engineer in this role, you will act as subject matter expert for power management and distribution components designed by external suppliers and integrated on the power subsystem.Duties & Responsibilities: In this role you will:-Analyze and interpret requirements of the space vehicle and apply them to the design and development of power management and distribution components.-Develop and manage schedule-Provide technical oversight to ensure power components are compliant and verifiable at not only subsystem but also card and box level-Evaluate and coordinate design reviews-Support application of the power components in a test bed environment to include test scripts and procedures.Top Skills:Experience managing a subcontractor to include generation of requirements and/or Statement of Work (SOW)Experience managing subcontractor deliverables and ensuring cost and schedule is maintainedExperience in design, analyses, and/or application of power management and/or distribution electronic assembliesBasic Qualifications: Principal Engineer-Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (preferably Electrical Engineering) with 5 years of experience; Master's degree with 3 years; or PhD Experience managing a subcontractor to include generation of requirements and/or Statement of Work (SOW)-Experience managing subcontractor deliverables and ensuring cost and schedule is maintained-Experience in design, analyses, and/or application of power management and/or distribution electronic assemblies-Sr. Principal Engineer Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (preferably Electrical Engineering) with 9 years of experience; Master's degree with 7 years; or PhD with 4 years Experience managing a subcontractor to include generation of requirements and/or Statement of Work (SOW)-Experience managing subcontractor deliverables and ensuring cost and schedule is maintained-Experience in design, analyses, and/or application of power management and/or distribution electronic assembliesPreferred Qualifications:-Experience working with an international supplier to include knowledge of export compliance and ITAR regulations-Technical background with triggered Ethernet, 1553, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), and/or power conversion.About Aerotek: Your success starts with the right career opportunity.
