We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our dedicated team at our headquarters in Winchester, VA. This is a critical role responsible for supporting the functional area of human resources specific to benefits administration, HRIS administration, and recruiting. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in benefits administration. They must also possess intermediate computer skills, to be comfortable using multiple programs, and possess the ability to run queries, pull and analyze data, and create pivot tables. Respond to carrier's request for information related to disability claims Process qualified medical child support orders and state requests for information Assist in the completion of the monthly benefits invoice processing for employees on leaves of absence. Process/track wellness participation to ensure employees are having the correct deductions taken. Process HSA bank forms and requests to Cigna when employee addresses do not pass Customer Identification Regulation (CIP) for HSA bank accounts. Maintain HR/Benefits related documents on Company intranet, Mimeo and benefit website. Interact with carriers to resolve members access to care issues. Interact with payroll department and third party administrator to ensure benefit information properly updates in vendor system and payroll. Support leave administration including FMLA and company's personal leave of absence policy HRIS Administration: Maintain all HRIS systems with user rights and access. HireRight (background checking & drug and health services): Add and remove users in HireRight; provide related support to users when there are issues. Review unassigned orders and reassign them to the correct accounts with the correct flex codes. Monitor random draws for mismatches and work to resolve so posting of results are correct. Troubleshoot system issues and work to resolve. EBE (applicant tracking) Maintain user access including auditing new hires and terms to make sure applicants are reassigned to a hiring manager. Verify that the work EBE customer service is performing is correct regarding user setups. Troubleshoot system issues and work to resolve. Provide user training and customer service support as requested. Tenstreet (driver employment verification) Maintain account relationship. Troubleshoot system issues and work to resolve. Mimeo (online HR documents ordering tool) Act as primary contact with our Account Manager Set up and train new users Maintain all files available for order in the Mimeo marketplace Human Resources administration: Newsletter administration Support the development and proofing of copy Work with editorial team to ensure timely production and distribution of quarterly newsletters. Help coordinate Management/Supervisory training Organize and distribute class materials Identify possible venues and book hotel rooms for participants Follow up with class participants and management regarding course evaluations and participant goals Recruiting Work with hiring managers and Corporate HR to continually upgrade the organization by screening resumes, scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires. Coordinate employment selection process and its components including background screening to ensure adherence to all equal employment opportunity legislation, affirmative action, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other government compliance requirements. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Support the needs of all new employees. This position will serve as a backup to other Benefits/HR activities as assigned. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of human resource experience with recruiting experience required. PHR certification is preferred. Excellent personal computer skills in a networked environment, Microsoft products and SAP experience is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attentive to details and meticulous about quality. Thorough knowledge of equal employment opportunity laws, ADA, and other government compliance regulations that affect job recruitment. Excellent interviewing and general communications and writing skills. Experience in administering human resource programs including but not limited to recruiting and vetting.
