Reporting directly to YRCI's Chief Client Development Officer (CCDO) - spearhead strategic business development campaigns for YRCI by leveraging connections, fostering relationships, developing solutions, and influencing Federal agencies to define effective acquisition strategy, presenting and creating YRCI win themes, SME solutions, and operational excellence through proposal delivery and ongoing relationship management. Job Responsibilities: Represent, market, and brand YRCI externally in the Federal shared services marketplace with both key industry and government decision makers; lead strategic partner relationships, perform solution design for the Remote Operating Center (ROC) lines of service, serve as the corporate SME for acquisition (solution architect), and perform traditional new business development and expansion with shared services clients. Focus on large strategic opportunities for YRCI and externally brand and position the company favorably for the future. Position YRCI in the Federal shared services market by establishing a seat at the table in educating, influencing, and persuading policy makers and program leads; when appropriate, conduct face-to-face meetings with government decision makers and lead tours of YRCI's shared services center. Elevate the corporate profile within the Federal shared services community by becoming a visible leader through direct involvement and participation (eg attending and presenting at meetings) in the Shared Services Leadership Coalition (SSLC) and the American Council for Technology and Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC), National Contract Management Association (NCMA) (three associations in which YRCI has membership); arrange and attend SSLC events. Develop and expand client relationships with existing and new clients in coordination with YRCI Program Development subject matter experts and the Program Management Office (PMO). Help develop and build a qualified pipeline for professional services that leads to 'closed deals' and revenue growth for YRCI. Drive expansion of the qualified pipeline of opportunities for YRCI services with emphasis primarily on Acquisition Management and other Financial and Management Professional Services, as well as Human Capital/Human Resources. Work closely with recruitment staff to define clear requirements to meet competitive and client expectations. Support competitive analysis and establishment of price-to-win and capture strategies. Manage multiple client relationships from identification through capture and award. Consult with YRCI PMO, ROC, and the client to help ensure client satisfaction with regard to delivery and operational execution. Bachelor's Degree and 15 years of experience as a demonstrated leader within organizations, driving strategic growth and operational efficiencies and/or leadership in creating and closing programs or deals of significant yearly value in Federal solutions and services. A vibrant and active network of contacts, including professional organization affiliations. Market awareness and ability to discuss opportunities at early stages and set a strategic vision to capture new clients, markets, partners, or human capital. Ability to travel at least 20% of the time to attend meetings, events, and conferences in-person (post-COVID-19). Critical analysis and reasoning skills with emphasis on deal qualification and strategic positioning. Relationship, capture, and closure-oriented approach to developing and winning deals. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Collaborative style working across company, customer, and partner organizations. Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and contracting process, Shipley Capture Management and Business Development; Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process; and Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian personnel management.
