Express Pros Frederick is seeking a Restaurant Manager to work at an upscale, fast-paced restaurant in the Frederick County, MD area. Qualified candidate must have strong hospitality and leadership knowledge with high volume experience. Duties: . Ensure all staff understand and follow company rules and enforce disciplinary action, as needed. . Responsible for observing and monitoring food and beverages to ensure that the quality of the food and beverages meet standards, from the moment an ingredient arrives to the moment it hits the table. . Maintain a strong presence on the floor to anticipate and address issues and resolving guest concerns . Participate in rolling silverware, prep, clean, and stock when needed. Work as part of the team and leave your ego at the door. Requirements: . After full training there may be additional training or work at other restaurant locations . Strong hospitality and leadership knowledge . Must have well-rounded wine and craft cocktail knowledge . Positive attitude, especially during rushes or stressful situations . Ability to prioritize and complete tasks accordingly . Must be at least 21 years of age . Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time . 5+ years' experience as a manager in an upscale restaurant environment . Must be open to changing behavior based on constructive criticism from owner and/or other management .
