Summary

Serves as the DoD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) unauthorized disclosure Program Analyst under the direction of the unauthorized disclosure functional manager providing direction and oversight of a team of contractors in the analysis, case management of unauthorized disclosure events from across the Department of Defense and for the implementation of DoD unauthorized disclosure plans and/or strategies.

Responsibilities

PROGRAM ANALYST (Unauthorized Disclosure) you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Applying information security principles to manage task accomplishments, making process improvement recommendations to enable program success.
  • Applying information security principles to the unauthorized disclosure program for the detection, deterrence and mitigation of unauthorized disclosures across the DoD.
  • Developing situational awareness reports, policy language and program process recommendations under directions of the unauthorized disclosure functional manager.
  • Managing the accomplishment of internal and external goals and objectives through direction and oversight of contractor support.
  • Assists in serving as liaison to develop working relationships with counterparts in DoD and Federal unauthorized disclosure activities to exchange pertinent information and provide free flow of information on matters of mutual interest.
  • Deterring, detecting, and mitigating actions by personnel who may represent a threat to national security.
  • Collection, analysis, production, and dissemination of unauthorized disclosure reporting for community consumption.
  • Using analytical and evaluative methods and techniques extract and organize unauthorized disclosure data to provide recommendations to improve detection.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, and will typically be demonstrated by working at, or immediately below the level of the job being advertised, for a year or more. The previous work experience must clearly demonstrate the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Specialized experience required for this position is: Experience must encompass proficiency in management and analysis in information security principles for unauthorized disclosure, developing situational awareness reports, policy and program process recommendations, proficient in developing trends from complex topics as well as familiarity of insider threat, public affairs and intelligence oversight.

    DCSA, as a newly designated Defense Agency is undergoing a multi-year transformation that includes a significant expansion of predecessor agencies' authorities and responsibilities. Mission accretion and associated growth in personnel and resources requires deliberate coordination and planning across operations and support activities to achieve effective outcomes while simultaneously establishing and integrating new activities, initiatives and projects. The new organization will be comprised of nearly 13,000 government and contractor personnel operation throughout the United States and overseas supporting stakeholders across the federal government.
