The Junior LAN Technician provides a single point of contact for on-site support operations. This role provides in-person support for request fulfillment, incident management and access management related process workflows. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all computer hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. While the role will primarily serve as tier II escalation support from the service desk, the position may also be required to provide smart hands support and light troubleshooting of basic network and server hardware. Additionally, you will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

Work Schedule:
  • Operational Support: Provide Service Operations response and support for all requests, incidents and access related efforts performed on site at any of the organization's locations; Assist with the installation, configuration, upgrade, and overall provide day-to-day administration and support required for the AHC compute environment; Support the administration and configuration of end point devices to include laptops, tablets, desktops, peripherals, and clinical devices; Conducts site surveys, assesses and document current site equipment, configurations and user requirements; Perform access management and provisioning for application and system access and troubleshoot access related issues; Ability to take a flexible work schedule and be on call after hours
  • Implementation and Transition: Follow standard operating procedures in the implementation and transition of software and hardware deployments; Facilitate conversations across AHC employees, vendors and other support teams while implementing or upgrading devices and software; Follow change and release management processes; Work with the Project Management Office on device refresh and general device deployment activities; Participate in the creation of detailed work breakdown structures for the implementation of automated and manual provisioning configurations
