As a Staff Accountant, you will:
• Work under the general supervision of a team of Senior Accountants and Staff II Accountant
• Prepare Physician Supplemental Compensation calculation in accordance with each physician's individual contract
• Handle preparation of journal entries to record operating results for approximately 35 physician practices
• Thrive in a very static environment with changes, new practices, closing practices, physician changes.
• Work very closely with the Senior Accountant for Physician Practices and the Senior Accountant will be providing training on the specific work as well as Workday system.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Business Administration is required
• New grads welcome
• 1 - 2 years of General Ledger Accounting and month-end-close experience a plus
• Proficiency in Excel; Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Complex Spreadsheets, ability to handle large volumes of data in Excel required
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and standards
• Understanding of financial and operational systems
• Ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment
• Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, professional demeanor and communication skills
• Strong stewardship of confidential data
