Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Looking to find work that stimulates your mind, challenges your skills, and satisfies your curiosity? MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking an Information Systems & Cyber Security, Jr. Analyst to provide Cybersecurity Analyst support to a NAWCAD customer located in Patuxent River and St. Inigoes, Maryland.

Key Duties
  • Apply Risk Management Framework (RMF) Steps to Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS) computer systems
  • Develop Certification & Accreditation (C&A) documentation, Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Artifacts, and Life Cycle Management documentation required by the FAO to obtain an Authorization To Operate (ATO)
  • Select and manage NIST SP 800-53rev4 security controls in eMASS and work with engineers to ensure systems are accurately reflected in vulnerability assessments
  • Conduct credentialed scans via Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
  • Perform Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) STIG analysis
  • Identify and propose solutions to resolve, mitigate, remediate, or compensate for security deficiencies
  • Conduct continuous monitoring, Step 6 of the RMF process
  • Ensure all required software applications are current in the DON Application and Database Management System (DADMS)

Required Qualifications
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position
  • Must possess CompTIA Security+ Certification or be able to obtain this certification within four months of hiring.
  • Applicant must be a self-starter with research, design, installation, and troubleshooting skills
  • Clear and concise communication with customers, peers, and management is a must.
  • Must have the ability to independently travel to/from and work at NAS Patuxent River, Webster Outlying Field, and MIL offices.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM)
  • BS or BA degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

Education

AS or AA degree in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field. An additional four (4) years of experience in a business or technical position can be substituted for an AS or AA degree.

Clearance

All applicants for this position must possess, at a minimum, a current Secret clearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects.
