Adventist Urgent Care seeks to hire an experienced Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Urgent Care Physician Assistant you will:
• Report directly to the Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. • Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
• Utilize equipment and technology correctly, delegate non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications include:
• Must have recent experience in an urgent care setting, prefer 1-2 years of experience.
• Board certified in family medicine or have 1-year experience in a pediatric setting as a PA
• Qualified to see ages 6 months to geriatrics.
• Experience with suturing, treating fractures, I&D abscesses and treating other minor injuries.
• The ability to read plain film X-ray and EXG.
• Prefer DOT certification.
• The ideal candidate will have 1-2 yrs. experience as PA
