Adventist HealthCare and CCPLab seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Hospital Services who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Manager of Hospital Services you will:

• Provide oversight to operations and technical/non-technical support for the Pathology Department at all CCPLab's affiliated Hospitals (4).
• Manage workflow, scheduling, turnaround time and competencies, as well as customer service.
• Maintaining appropriate staffing, assisting with SOP's (yearly maintenance and development of new SOPs as needed), and ensure that lab quality standards are maintained.
•Support hospital staff in daily duties, as needed, to include receiving and accessioning pathology specimens, preparing tissue cassettes for Pathology Assistants, preparing stained slides for frozen sections and bone marrows, assisting with in-room procedures and adult/fetal autopsies.
• Assists to ensure laboratory compliance with all professional, state, and federal regulatory agency requirements.
•Demonstrate proficient use of LIS system and computer software programs with high level of precision.
• Assist Executive Director with the direction of hospital services and maintains appropriate documentation as requested. Communicate with physicians, patients, technologists, clients and other departments with professionalism and compassion at all times.

Qualified candidates will posses:
• BS degree in Science required
• Previous leadership required
• Medical work experience and laboratory staffing preferred
• Excellent customer service skills; PC skills with strong knowledge of computer software programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to handle a multi-task environment and establish and maintain good
rapport with staff and other hospital/client personnel

Work Schedule:

Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm with flexibility to cover heavy workload and extra hours if/when needed.
