Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Financial Planning who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Manager of Financial Planning, you will:
• Direct the financial analysis and decision support process
• Coordinate the team's efforts with entity financial leadership to ensure best practices are utilized across the organization
• Provide guidance and direction that moves the team toward a common or shared goal with available resources that support organizational mission and goals
• Support the development of the AHC annual operational and capital budget
• Manage and continuously develops our data tools to provide timely information for decision making
• Be responsible for Budget Software System maintenance and security administration
• Coordinate quarterly financial projections for all entities and prepares management reports
• Coordinate routine updates to AHC's overall long-term financial plan, utilizing Kaufman Hall software
• Perform or direct team members to perform pro-forma financial analysis/projections for possible business ventures
• Hire, orient and supervise employees
• Coordinate professional development of Financial Planning staff
• Identify, and, where appropriate, implement innovative procedures and processes in financial planning

Qualifications include:
• A Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a health-related field required, Masters preferred.
• 5-8 years of work experience in business development, strategic planning, financial management or decision support required
• Working knowledge of health care industry required
• Ability to supervise and mentor financial planning staff
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the healthcare industry as well as financial and operating targets
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cost accounting systems.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in database environments such as Microsoft Access.
