The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program Enablement Lead is the primary project manager for the University of Maryland College Park’s ERP implementation project. This position works under direct supervision of Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and is responsible for overseeing the ERP portfolio of projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements. This includes coordinating with the Program Manager (AVP/ERP) and workstream leads to plan, estimate, and schedule project work, monitor project plan progress, issues, and risks, and assist with project financials and budget. Working within a matrix environment, the incumbent will oversee the ERP project managers and Business Analysts to ensure consistency in management practices and project reporting.

Minimum qualifications

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of seven (7+) years’ experience in role(s) where responsible for the organizational change for large-scale projects.
Experience collecting and measuring change impacts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

- Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to develop best practices, techniques and tools for project planning, execution and management.
- Ability to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Preferences 
- Experience in higher education
- Experience at University of Maryland, College Park
- ITIL certification preferred
- PMP certification preferred

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Incumbent works in an office environment and position requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to meetings on and off campus. Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
