Summary

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for operational planning and monitoring of marketing campaigns driving awareness of goods and services offered by AARP Providers.

This position will support Marketing Analytics team's advisors overseeing the planning, tracking, reporting and campaign optimization recommendations across four cooperative marketing programs.

Reporting & optimizations range across offline direct mail marketing, digital campaigns and website performance. Digital campaigns and website performance are tracked using Adobe SiteCatalyst.
Responsibilities

> Manage all operational, ad hoc and ongoing reporting deliverables supporting both Marketing Analytics Advisors managing analytics for the four cooperative marketing programs.

> Facilitate data collection, processing and database uploads for all offline marketing campaign analyses/deliverables.

> Create and maintain all offline and online marketing campaign codes plus digital tracking strings that are the backbone of reporting capabilities.

> Maintain direct mail plan that includes 100+ yearly campaigns with over 17MM pieces mailed annually.

> Lead data classification creation and updating in both our offline database and soon-to-launch digital online reporting tool/platform.

> Support reporting board development in new online reporting tool.

> Take over monthly dashboard reporting and engagement projections.

> Ad hoc analytics requests fulfillment.
^ Process and pull data ad hoc to support ASI Cooperative Consumer Marketing and Affiliate Marketing teams.
^ Learn/refine ability to present said data so insights/learnings are actionable.

> Lead project management efforts to ensure on time and accurate deliverables.
Requirements

> Completion of Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in an analytical role (Master's degree preferred)

> Marketing and/or Business analysis experience required

> Daily or weekly Adobe/Omniture SiteCatalyst or Google Analytics user with at least 2+ years' experience (Adobe preferred)

> 2+ years of digital marketing campaign performance and optimization analytics preferred

> Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills

> Intermediate to advanced SQL Server knowledge and/or experience

> Intermediate level or better Microsoft PowerPoint skills
