Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, coordinates, and recommends proposals and revisions to DOD, other/joint service, DA or industry initiatives and policies for assigned programs.
  • Supervise and outlines policies, program requirements, objectives, and resource limitations.
  • Develops, promulgates, and interprets DOD/DA/PEO and PM policy and guidance
  • Reviews and approves selections, promotions, reassignments and leave schedules of personnel.

Qualifications

About the Position: This NH-0301-04 position is located with Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) located in Arlington, Virginia.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Experience Required:
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-03 (GS-13 or equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes: Oversight and responsibility for Schedule and task Management, Management and tracking of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with Stakeholders, Personnel Evaluations, Actions and Awards (Military and Civilian) and Travel, Management, Tables of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), Project Controls/Staff Action Control Officer and Reporting, Facility Management and the Property Book Officer (PBO) functions, Information Management Office (IMO) support, and public affairs.

Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Career Field Position. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 24 months of entrance on duty.

This position may be eligible for regular and recurring TELEWORK, including emergency and OPM prescribed unscheduled Telework. Supervisor approval will be required on a case-by-case basis.

  • The Supervisory Development Course (SDC) must be completed within one year of placement into the position. The Foundation Course (FC) is required for all supervisors and managers hired after 30 September 2006. The Basic Course (BC) must be completed within one year of placement into the position. The Intermediate Course (IC) must be completed within two years after placement into the position. The Advanced Course (AC) must be completed within two years after placement into the position.   • Selectees must sign an AAC written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least three (3) years.
