Recognizes problems and notifies Supervisor or In-charge Tech on duty. Consults with Pathologist, Supervisor, or In-Charge Tech on duty on selected tests, procedures, unusual problems and interpretations of same. Demonstrates keen and accurate judgment to established testing procedures, to interpret test, assure accurate charting/recording, and in spotting inconsistencies and error. Maintains inventory supply, stocks, and maintains neat, orderly work area. Trains new associates and/or students per protocol. Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with government and accreditation regulations. Performs such other related and ancillary duties as assigned.
