The AVP - Chief Technology Officer leads the enterprise wide strategic direction for AHC's technology platform and associated computer security program in support of all Hospitals, Entities, and Non-Hospital based Service Lines. Provides oversight and decision making to research and select emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and workflows, to support and sustain excellence in aligning business goals to technology initiatives, and to ensure continuous delivery of technical services through oversight of the technology platform and associated service level agreements. Leads the technology modernization of all new acquisitions (acute care, non-acute, primary, and ancillary care).

Work Schedule:
  • Oversee strategy and execution of an enterprise-wide technology operations management team and security team (to include oversight for disaster recovery and business continuity).
  • Manage and energize a cohesive team culture within the technology operations and security teams by prioritizing accountability, collaboration, and the courage to deliver outstanding results.
  • Lead strategic technological planning to achieve business goals by coordinating the evaluation and management of current and future technologies.
  • Lead technology modernization initiatives for all new acquisitions, joint ventures, and managed service customers.
  • Analyze and improve upon technology standards across the organization to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.
  • Develop and communicate business/technology alignment plans to corporate, entity, and service line executive team, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
