The AVP for Information Systems and Integrations leads the enterprise wide strategic direction for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and the integrations platforms of the health system in support of hospital entities and AHC Service Lines. This role drives Population Health revenue targets by leading the day-to-day technical support interactions with primary and ancillary care physician office leadership in support of the AHC's Medical Group and Clinically Integrated Network. This role leads AHC's enterprise teleservices strategy to include Acute, Ambulatory, Home Health, and Rehabilitation Telemedicine strategy and Lourie Center and Ridge School TeleEducation strategy.

Work Schedule:
  • Drive effective strategies for the EHR platforms including the design, implementation, development, governance and operational practices; and serves as Executive sponsor of all EHR IT and Integrations projects.
  • Manage and energize a cohesive team culture within the EHR teams for acute care, post-acute care, ambulatory and the integrations team by prioritizing accountability, collaboration, and the courage to deliver outstanding results.
  • Connect with entity, pillar and community-affiliate executives to communicate on all necessary IT strategy and process. Contribute extensively, from an IT perspective, to the execution of the respective group's vision and goals.
  • Ensure key team measures of success targets are set, measured and attained at world class levels.
  • Develop with IT leadership, the overall IT policies and procedures for efficient working protocols and manage the processes for auditing those protocols.
  • Provide executive leadership and articulate clear direction for the EHR IT and integrations teams to perform at world class within the vision and goals of Adventist Healthcare, and lead EHR and integrations governance processes. Enterprise-wide participate in and provide feedback on additional health system governance committees.
