Crestron Programmer- Washington DC Our client, a leading systems integrator of audiovisual and videoconferencing systems, is seeking a Crestron Programmer to support enterprise clients in the DMV region. This position involves writing, troubleshooting and commissioning code for advanced control systems. Crestron certifications are REQUIRED. AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS or CTS-I) and experience with audio DSPs such as QSC, and/or Biamp are preferred. Responsibilities: Commissioning and servicing of Audio Visual Systems, re-wiring, Universal remote control Program, troubleshoot and maintain Crestron systems Communicate system operation to the customer and do system re-wiring as needed Provide technical assistance and resolve related issues for users and personnel Create, load & modify Audio Visual control system code and graphical user interfaces for industry standard systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.). Create, load & modify audio DSP code for industry standard systems (Biamp, ClearOne, Extron, etc). Commission systems onsite and engage in end-user training Education, Experience and Skills Requirements: At least 3 years of recent experience as an AMX & Crestron Programmer Keen ability to install, troubleshoot and maintain AMX & Crestron electronic systems Experience installing and testing code onsite. BS/BA - computer science, computer systems engineering, or related field At least 3 years of recent experience as Crestron & AMX Programmer Crestron Master level Programmer & AMX ACE certifications desired Creston DMC-E required CTS or CTS-I strongly preferred System design and engineering experience preferred Experience working with clients in a professional manner Must be able to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical users Outstanding oral and written communication skills - clear, direct, detailed.
