Hours: Full timeLocation: International Learning Center, Rockville, VARate: Salary commensurate with experience + great benefitsResponsibilities:Repairs & Remodels: addresses all repair and renovation needs on the campus, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, interior & exterior carpentry, office arrangements, mechanical, painting, roofing, and residential and commercial appliance repair.Preventative Maintenance: monitors, performs, and records routine pm appointments across the campus, including HVAC, vehicles, appliances, etc.Emergency Services: responsible for monitoring & troubleshooting fire alarm & sprinkler systems, testing generator systems, snow removal, flood extraction, rotating on-call duty, and assisting security with specific emergency situations .Event & Office Coordination: schedules and monitors weekly HVAC programming for campus events, repurposes office spaces, and general physical labor assignments.Contractor Assignment & Assistance: coordinates contractor services, and serves as point of contact, directing them to specific issues.Equipment & Vehicle Operation/Maintenance: performs basic preventative maintenance and repair services on company equipment and vehicles, operates forklift, scissor lift, etc.Requirements:Advanced experience in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Interior & Exterior Carpentry, Mechanical, Equipment Operation, Painting, Roofing, Appliance RepairIn lieu of licenses, a broad background in varied fields is required.Minimum 3 years' experience in maintenance position supporting wide range of building needs.Knowledge of occupational safety and hazardous material handling.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)Customer service skillsFrequent physical activity including lifting more than 50 pounds, kneeling, shoveling, working outdoors, working with proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places.Worker Type: Employee,Regular
