Position Summary: Skyline Ultd Inc., a CRI company, is actively seeking Software Engineers for a Federal client in the DC metro area. The Software Engineers will be part of a small team that enhances and support the clients premier web-based application. All development will be performed on a fully scalable, completely automated cloud platform. The technology stack includes modern versions of Ruby on Rails, *nix, MySQL, and Twitter Bootstrap. Responsibilities & Duties: Support a mission-critical production application that provides information for policymakers with the sponsors partners Provide software development engineering to optimize the projects operationalefficiency Analyze, design, develop, deploy, and provide lifecycle support for project applications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree required TS SCI with Poly A minimum of 2 years experience as a Software Engineer with demonstratedexperience in the following: o Working in an Agile team environment o Developing software using Ruby on Rails o Conducting automated testing with rspec and capybara o Developing on a *nix platform using standard tool compilation and build processes o MySQL database query language and RDS systems o AWS technologies o JavaScript or Vue Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience with deployment tools, specifically Capistrano or similar Demonstrated experience with front-end design toolkits such as Twitter Bootstrap Demonstrated experience with version control, including Git Demonstrated experience collaborating with customers to refine requirements and provide user solutions Demonstrated experience integrating accessibility standards into modern web methods Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail Advanced problem-solving skills Agile and organized approach to work Effective time-management skills Equal Opportunity Employer: Central Research is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
