Job Description AbleVets, a Cerner company, provides healthcare information technology services and resources to help the VA and DoD improve the lives of the people they serve. As a Manager, Federal Program Manager you will lead and direct the Federal Program Management Office (PMO) through management of teams, tools and processes. You will collaborate with client account and delivery leaders to identify and scope inter-related projects and programs requiring centralized PMO support. You will also define, plan and direct the work of multiple project teams and matrixed support organizations to enable delivery of client projects on-time, on-budget and on-scope. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience. At least 5 years of Projectprogram management work experience Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to Preferred Qualifications At least 3 years of Federal government projectprogram management work experience At least 2 years of People management work experience Project Management Professional (PMI) certification preferred Expectations Willing to travel up to 20 as needed Must be residing in or willing to relocate to Arlington, VA Additional Information Applicants for US-based positions with Cerner must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate . The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
