Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (or equivalent training and experience) in a closely related field; * Significant demonstrated experience in proposal preparation, budget development and submission; * Experience with all types of award mechanisms (grants, contracts, subcontracts, and cooperative agreements); * Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and typical sponsor rules/regulations pertaining to sponsored research; * Ability to interpret and apply sponsor, institutional, and departmental policies; * Ability to manage high-volume transactions; * Demonstrated ability to research, investigate, analyze, and interpret proposal, award, fiscal and compliance requirements; * Demonstrated experience in a collaborative work environment; * Highly developed, clear and effective communication skills (verbal and non-verbal); * Strong organizational and analytical skills, problem solving skills, and high attention to detail; * Intermediate to expert level Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
