Responsibilities: Apply engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems. Review and prepare engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Apply engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Education: Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in an Engineering Discipline or Physical Science. Experience: At least six (6) years of engineering experience that has consisted of performing the foregoing engineering functions, and at least three (3) years of the foregoing total experience shall have consisted of performing engineering functions with respect to support, research or development of mechanical, electrical, or aerospace systems. Knowledge and experience with NTWL test and evaluation processes, interoperability, system of systems, mission systems integration and mission-based testing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required. Specific experience with testing of NIFC, data links, airborne radar, and/or data fusion is preferred. Knowledge of phased array radars, radar theory and electronic warfare highly desired. Knowledge of tactical data links, including Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) and/or Link-16 highly desired. Knowledge of and test experience with E-2 systems and/or the Air Warfare and Surface Warfare mission areas is highly desired. Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Occasional travel is required.
