This Accounts Payable position offers an opportunity to become an essential part of a busy company. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks. What you get to do every single day - Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department - Provide internal and external audit assistance as required - Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis - Complete special projects on an as-needed basis - Provide support to internal business partners - Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents - Operate full-cycle A/P - Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed - Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling Job Requirements: - Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds - Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired - Excellent attention to detail - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred - Spreadsheet and database capabilities - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred Accountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
