ELECTRICAL DETAILERLooking for an Electrical Detailer to join an Electrical Design Build and systems integration firm. Their capabilities include electrical, electronic security, telecommunications, life safety, instrumentation and control, and command and control systems. They do work for complex mission critical systems. These detailers will support several projects including Micron, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc. Responsibilities:Analysis of the project specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable code and other requirementsReview and analysis of equipment and material submittals with respect to interfaces, physical layout, and constructabilityDefining the detailing approach, common repeatable design elements, coordinating with MC Dean and external stakeholdersEstimating and planning VDC effort for one or multiple features of work on the project in accordance with established practices and project-level guidance3D modeling of moderately and highly complex elements of scope, eg electrical distribution, equipment and circuit layout in electrical rooms, telecommunications distribution, etc.Leading internal and multi-trade coordination for the respective features of work / scope elements, resolving conflicts/clashes, escalating issues to project leadership, as neededSupervising the design technicians/drafters responsible for the production of the drawings for the respective scopeSkills/Qualifications:Electrical, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, or related field2+ years of experienceExperience working in the construction fieldKnowledge of NEC code (National Electric Code)Advanced knowledge of Autodesk design tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), Bluebeam REVU, and relatedAbility to visit construction sitesExperience taking construction drawing package and converting into a very detailed fabrication drawing for prefabricationAbout Aerotek: Your success starts with the right career opportunity.
