Includes but not limited to full Dental / Medical Insurance, 401k, Flexible Vacation *Visa Sponsorship not available at this time* The Senior Systems Engineer is a key member of the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) team responsible for the design, administration, and support of our technology infrastructure. The Senior System Engineer will play a strategic role in the pending migration from our current on-premise architecture to one based on cloud technologies and will assume responsibility for managing the cloud-based infrastructure as it is rolled out. Required Technical Skills: Ten or more years of progressive experience in IT is preferred; Experience working in Azure environments highly desirable Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of operating systems, storage area networking, virtualization, workstations (configuration and connectivity), network file servers, applicable software, and trouble-shooting techniques Experience in implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including compute, storage, network and security services is highly desirable Knowledge of backup, restore, recovery and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services Experience managing Azure AD and other authentication platforms Experience with Microsoft 365 Familiarity with managing Linux systems College degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience Certifications: Microsoft, EMC and VMware preferred Required Soft Skills: The ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Strong vendor management and partner relation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English A business-oriented mindset driven by continual service improvement techniques Ability to effectively identify and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Apply now by sending your CV to with your phone availability to Reiley Callahan: @nigelfrank.com , 646- - Nigel Frank International is the global leader for Microsoft Technologies recruitment, advertising more Azure jobs than any other agency.
