Overview The engineer will assist in the management of multiple, complex environments to ensure continuous systems availability, in support of IT servicesproducts including build, maintenance and testing throughout the release lifecycle Qualifications Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 7+ Years of experience working in IT Environments Management for large, complex and mission-critical applications Collecting and delivering detailed information, with analysisinterpretation, to personnel of varying levels, from engineer through management COTS support Application development background, similar or equivalent type of experience Effective English communications skills, both written and verbal Skill in using PCs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and MS Project) and IBM Notes Understand and experience working with SharePoint and ServiceNow ITSM Strong understanding of the purposes and uses of Non-Production environments in an enterprise environment Experience working within a team and individually to perform root cause analysis ndash Works independently with minimal oversight (Mid-Level to Highly Experienced) Degree formal training in Computer Science andor Information Technology Certification in appropriate engineering disciplines Two or more of Distributed (AIX, Linux, UNIX and Windows) WebSphere, .Net, Lotus Notes, Java, SOA and IBM BPABPM IBM Mainframe (z Series) configuration items including data, applications and infrastructure COBOL, CICS, Assembler, REXX, JCL, FileAid, AbendAid, Strobe and SysView Working experiences with FIS Data Obfation (DO) Tool andor IBM OPTIM Reporting Crystal Reports and Cognos Reports DBMS DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Progress and Teradata Testing (Unit, Functional, Performance and StressLoad), including Automation Scripting AutomationScripting PERL, Python, WSS, BPABPM, Pega, etc. Desired Financial Industry background ITIL concepts, especially Service Transition, andor certification in ITIL DevOps andor Agile concepts andor certification in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Experience Experience with ServiceNow as a power user andor developer andor administrator or at minimum, an understanding Cloud computing, with specific understanding of Azure andor Amazon Web Services Security concepts access control and authorization Understanding Build and Release processes, and associated risks and considerations WebSphere Engineering and Administration responsibilities Administrating middleware application servers (WebSphere, MQ, IBM BPM, JBoss, .Net, etc).
