A' This is a 100% remote / work from home role.A' This is a 6 month project with the opportunity to be extended.A' A' A' A' SAIC is deploying a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals to provide technical management and support services that will assist in delivering effective, consistent and timely project management execution throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).A' SAIC is seeking aA' Systems Engineer A' to support the Contact Center Product Line Dashboard project. A' A' A Systems Engineer provides technical support in system architecture, system design, system integration and technical management. Assists in providing technical input to the systems engineering process. Provides requirements analysis. May prepare and present systems assurance reviews. Identifies requirements and deficiencies in hardware and software products. Advises customer in product selection and use, capacity planning operations and performance management. A' A' The main responsibility will be to develop the MS PowerBI dashboard, and User Interface design, for the Contact Center Product Line Dashboard. The dashboard is a one-stop shop, where all stakeholders can go to find information about the product line including releases, costs, budget lines, products, people, and the information that ties them together. A primary focus will be working on automating the data collection for the dashboard from the various VA systems where that information is currently stored. A' A' Duties to include: A' A' A' Develop a MS Power BI information system by designing, developing and installing software solution.A' A' Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition requirements, solution development and proposed solutions Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Follows the software development lifecycle. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Protects operations by keeping information confidential. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Meets with clients to elicit and rank data requirements. Defines customers' needs and functionality in a service development cycle. Plans and implements system automation as required for better efficiency. Collaborates with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and proceduresA' Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:A' A' A Bachelor's DegreeA' in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required and 2+ years of relevant experience.A' Note that 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's Degree . Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. Experience with Agile methodology and providing program/project management support to a government client. Knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs. Microsoft Office suite of tools and Microsoft SharePoint. Desired Qualifications: Agile and DevSecOps experience. Experience with Jira, Github, Confluence. Familiarity with VA OIT EPMO Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP) or VA PARS. Experience supporting the VA.
